Blogger shopping introduces affordable fashion
If you have ever been in desperate need for an inexpensive cute dress or outfit to wear but can’t seem to find anything, your problem has now been solved. Two fashion bloggers, Melissa and Jena have recently saved my life.
The job of a fashion blogger is to order clothes, shoes, or accessories from different stores and boutiques and report on the style, quality, fit, and price. Being a fashion blogger allows people to receive perks such as free items or discount codes.
I first found them a few weeks before Prom, I was the only one with no dress and me being so picky, didn’t like anything from the typical Prom stores. That was until my friend sent me a picture off of a fashion bloggers Instagram and I loved it. I immediately looked it up and proceeded to add it to my cart but when I went to checkout it was out of stock.
Later that evening, my mom emailed Jena Green (the blogger who posted it) and she was very friendly and quick to respond. She shared that it would be back in stock the next day and would let us know when.
The next day, I was sitting at school looking at the dress when I noticed it no longer said “Out of Stock”, so I began to order it. The dress was originally $75 but the blogger Melissa who was wearing it in the photo had a code for 20% off which took the dress down to $55, because the dress was so inexpensive compared to others and I was eager to get it, we paid the extra $15 to get overnight shipping so it ended up being a bargain.
The next day when my dress arrived, I put it on and loved it. I ordered a small and it fit true to size and was worth the money. The dress was from Apricot Lane Peoria and I received many compliments on the dress.
When Easter came around, I found out that my mom had ordered two of the things in my basket from them. One being a cute black jumpsuit and the other, a pair of Gucci Dupe sunglasses, both from Amazon. The jumpsuit was $24.99 and the sunglasses only $12.99. These are some great deals compared to what you would pay at most stores.
The last thing that I ordered from them was a mini flower printed bohemian style dress which went for $23.99. I was looking for a new dress to wear when I came across it on Jena Green’s Blog. It was also from Amazon and with Prime, it came within two days. The quality of the dress was much better than I expected and I love the dress.
I have only recently became familiar with these bloggers but now that I have discovered their great clothing suggestions, I can’t wait to see what else I will find!
