Bounce around at After Prom

Once April rolls around, every girl is going out to find the perfect dress for Prom, and every boy is trying to find the perfect way to ask their date to the dance. But, it is not until Prom ends, when the actual fun begins. It is sort of like a fun kids birthday party! Races, money, prizes, and more, After Prom is definitely the place to be.

The main part of After Prom is the prizes. When you get there, you are h

anded an envelope with “money” and tickets. The “money” can be used to buy more tickets at the end or can be used to make more money which can result in more tickets and more prizes. You can play games and participate in races and activities in order to win tickets, but in order to win more money you have to gamble. The more money you earn, the better chance you will get to win the prize you want. They have prices from speakers to IPads, so don’t miss out on the opportunity to win these awesome gifts.

There are many activities and fun things to do at After Prom: blow up races, log jumps, hamster ball races, and many more. The two things that were the biggest hits were bungee jumping and two big money blowing machines with REAL MONEY in them. There were a lot of people lining up to win some money and to bungee jump. Several games and little activities were set up all around the gym and the cafeteria for students to play and to win tickets. Many of the fun games you play at home with your family were there, but they were lifesize. They had Planko, Jenga, a Horse Shoe Toss (which was more like a pool raft toss), and several other games.

Foods and snacks are provided to munch on throughout the night. There was plenty of pizza, wings, homemade rice krispie treats that were shaped as sandcastles, ice cream bars, and pretzels. Many people enjoyed the mac and cheese bites as well as the pizza.

Decorations were also a big part of After Prom. The theme was Under the Sea, so there was a lot of blue and green as well as many turtles and sharks. They had several boats set up in the cafeteria and large octopi over the ticket counters. Not only was the cafeteria and the gym decorated, but the senior room, the bathrooms, and the hallways were all decked out in Under the Sea decor.

Overall, After Prom was an awesome experience. The games, food, and prizes, makes it all worthwhile, and not to mention, the decorations were outstanding! If you have the opportunity to attend After Prom, don’t skip out.
