Need help packing for break?
Spring Break - the event that you look forward to all school year. With being locked in classrooms, completing projects and assignments, and worst of all those dreadful tests, there is no doubt that you want to break free and let loose. This student spring break packing list will help you to prepare for your big trip so you can focus on having fun!
Start off with shirts:
Pick 2 basic tanks, something that you can mix and match or choose to wear as a cover up. Even if you are planning on going somewhere that is crazy warm, the weather can change in the blink of an eye, so it is extremely important to pack at least one long sleeve top. You can also use your long sleeve top towards the end of your vacation, (if you are burnt) as a nice long sleeve cover up.
The next step is pants:
Pants are an item of clothing that can be extremely difficult to pick out. If they are too tight and small then you will be uncomfortable while wearing them, but if they are took loose and big then you will be pulling them the entire time. You want to be comfortable in the pants you choose, so my suggestion to you is to make sure you have worn the shorts or jeans at least once before packing them into your suitcase because just having them on in the dressing room can be a lot different than having them on for a full day and completing everyday activities.
You can’t forget beachwear:
What is a spring break without a dip in the pool? Take along 2 or 3 of your favorite swimsuits. You can wash them each night and wear the other the next day and switch off. Better yet, choose a reversible bathing suit suit to bring with you and to save space in your bag. Another tip is to try to choose the bathing suits with the least amount of crazy detailing or straps. This way you won’t end up with crazy tan lines or broken straps by the end of your vacation. Make sure you bring along at least 2 pairs of sunglasses. I don’t know about you, but I manage to lose or break one pair of sunglasses every time I go on vacation. Whether they get swept away by the sea or left on the beach, I always end up buying a new pair!
Last, but certainly not least, shoes:
Save your nice heels and sandals for the nights when you go out with your family and friends. Flip flops will definitely come in handy when you are heading down to the beach. You can’t forget about a heavier shoe like a tennis shoe either. Tennis shoes will come in hand if you are planning to do any physical activities. Weather you are hiking or zip lining, tennis shoes are extremely important.
I hope this list has helped to simplify your packing process and made things a little bit easier for you. Enjoy your trip, and don’t forget to take plenty of pictures!
