Game of Thrones season 8 release coming soon

George R.R. Martin's best-selling book series "A Song of Ice and Fire" is brought to the screen as HBO sinks its considerable storytelling teeth into the medieval fantasy epic. Game of Thrones is the depiction of two powerful families, kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars and honest men. All playing a deadly game for control of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, and to sit atop the Iron Throne.

It has recently been announced that season 8 of the series will be released on HBO on April 14th. This will be the very last season released and will be the end to the story line. Each episode is said to last 2 hours long each. The episode will be similar to mini movies.

I personally think this show is amazing. I am currently on season 4 trying to finish before the new season is released. So far the characters are so in depth and the whole atmosphere is addicting. Each episode leaves the reader on a cliffhanger making you want to keep watching to see what happens next.

The shows has so much going on in just one episode. The different kingdoms and royal families are so different from each other, resulting in lots of conflict. This makes the tensions run high and create situations that aren't the easiest to get out of.

I really have nothing negative to say about the show. Although, it can be inappropriate for some children and have some gruesome scenes. Other than that I would HIGHLY recommend this show to anyone looking for a good binge.

Game of Thrones can be found on HBO or Hulu. There are currently 7 seasons and soon to be 8 this April. There has been rumor that a prequel season will be coming out after season 8 is released, but it has not yet been confirmed.

So if you have time, start watching this epic adventure now before the last season comes out in just a little over a month!!
