Girls basketball team dominates the court

With the season having a 21-1 record, the girls basketball team has been dominating the court. For the past 2 years, the girls basketball team has been counting up their wins game after game. The seniors on this team include: Shayla Sellers, Hailey Ross, Julia Mazanec, and Becca Crawford.

Coach Erika Greenberg has been very impressed with how hard the girls have been working this season. She says that the girls are peaking at the right time and playing really well together. As well as, “Our team has put in a lot of time and hard work to get where we are. I think we have played well and are going to keep it rolling into post season play.”

One of the juniors on the girls basketball team, Katie Houlahan, says, “I think that we will do well if we keep up our good defense and keep rebounding the way we are. Even though we will probably end up playing some tough teams we will always to do our best and give it our all and hope to come out on top.”

These girls have been together for a very long time and they plan on finishing the season just like they started it- by winning. Both players and coaches enjoy spending their days with this team and they each love watching everyone succeed and learn new skills as the seasons continue to go on.
