Georgetown
Located in Lakewood, Georgetown is a classier version of a typical American restaurant. The fun atmosphere and great food creates a great dining experience.
Georgetown is the perfect spot for all seasons, however, the environment in the summer is perfect. The outdoor patio has tables for medium sized groups and cute lights that make going out to dinner even more fun.
Along with the fun atmosphere is their diverse menu that has something for everyone. There are options ranging from burgers, to seafood, to pasta. It is a great spot to share any of their amazing appetizers and small plates. Some of these include their crispy calamari, short rib mini sliders, and their flatbread pizzas.
I tried the bacon truffle mac which features a creamy white cheese sauces on the house penne pasta, shredded bacon, along with grilled chicken. I thought they did a great job of making a more upscale and filling version of a great comfort food. And with the weather being so cold it was nice to warm up with a warm bowl of mac and cheese. The portion sizes are great and definitely allowed there to be leftovers to take home. The entree of bacon truffle mac was 16 dollars.
Another great option is the G-Town burger which allows you to pick any type of cheese, caramelized onions, pickles, and is served with a side of pommes frites.
If you are more of a pizza person there are a wide variety of flat breads to choose from. If you are feeling adventurous they have the Maine Lobster Pizza which features manchego cheese, caramelized cipollini onions, roasted garlic puree, and fresh herbs. Along with the flavorful Maine Lobster Pizza are a classic pepperoni flatbread and a mushroom pizza. The pizzas range in price from 12 to 16 dollars.
Overall, I would recommend Georgetown if you are in the area because they provide many food options and have a great atmosphere for small and large groups.
