You is a new Netflix series that has ten episodes and will only expand to become a popular tv series.
The show, You, is based on a best-selling novel by Caroline Kepnes. The plot of the Netflix series is about a riveting and hypnotic story of Joe Goldberg, an obsessive yet brilliant New Yorker, who exploits today’s technology to win the heart of Beck amid the growing suspicions of her best friend Peach. Joe transforms from a stalker to a boyfriend and is willing to do everything it takes, even murder, to get the girl of his dreams.
The starring actors of You are Penn Badgley, Elizabeth Lail, and Shay Mitchell. Penn Badgley is also in Gossip Girl, Easy A, and The Stepfather. Elizabeth Lail also stars in Dead of Summer. Shay Mitchell stars in Pretty Little Liars, The Possession of Hannah Grace, and Mother’s Day.
Like every other show, You has strengths and some weaknesses.
The strengths are that it is able to show the viewer that there are people out there in the world who will do anything and everything for love and is able to captivate the viewer. Also, the show is able to make the audience be on the end of their seat, trying to figure out what will happen. Additionally, the show is able to keep the audience guessing about what will happen and not just tell them everything right off the bat.
The weaknesses are that the beginning of the show starts off slowly and does not show rational thoughts.
The kind of person who will like this show is someone who enjoys shows that keeps the audience guessing, believes love conquers all and wants to see a happy ending.
