A few of the foods I’ve tried from the restaurant were a couple of appetizers like the fried pickles and the calamari. The fried pickles include Kosher dill pickles and are beer battered with a side of ranch dressing, which cost 8.00 dollars. The calamari is a basket of Point Judith fried calamari with a side of horseradish cocktail sauce, which cost 13.00. The fried pickles have sour taste, but the sweet ranch balances it out so it gives the pickles are a pretty sweet taste to them which I really enjoyed. The calamari was very tasty as well. They have the perfect amount of crunch to them and taste pretty sweet.
For my entree I got the bacon cheeseburger. The cheeseburger includes house-smoked candied thick cut bacon, aged Vermont white and yellow cheddar cheeses, shredded iceberg, vine-ripened tomato, red onion, toasted brioche bun, which cost 16.00 dollars. My burger’s bacon was pretty burnt and very crispy, but besides that the burger was very yummy as well. The burger was juicy and the bun was soft and did not get soggy which I thought was very uncommon, and made the burger stand out.
City Works is great combination of a sports bar and nice, classy restaurant. Part of the restaurant is for those who want to enjoy sports and other part of it is for those who want to enjoy a nice dinner with their friends and family, which makes the restaurant very unique and different from many.
All in all, I highly recommend City Works, they have delicious food and a great atmosphere for a variety of people. City Works will soon become one of the best restaurants in the Cleveland area.
