Aurora's Got Talent looks for participants
Many people in Aurora have spectacular talents that deserve to be seen and recognized.
The Rotary Club of Aurora and Aurora High School are presenting the first ever Aurora’s Got Talent show, which will be held on January 26. It is a great opportunity for people to display their talents to the entire town.
The number of turnouts is unexpected, according to Mrs. Foster, teacher and organizer of Aurora’s Got Talent. Despite the uncertainty in how many people will audition, applicants for the talent show are starting to roll in regardless.
Official auditions for the show do not begin until a week or so before the date.
Alongside, there will be no official judges, because Aurora’s Got Talent is a just-for-fun kind of event, but there will be monitors to make sure it is running smoothly.
“We don't know what kind of talent will show up; however we are looking for a wide variety...magicians, ventriloquists, singers, actors, dancers, musicians.,etc.” said Foster.
A wide variety of talents would make for a great show, although every talent presented is appreciated.
Anyone with Portage Country residence status who are at least twelve years of age are qualified for entering in the show.
