Gilmore Girls continues to impress
The television show Gilmore Girls features young mother Lorelai Gilmore, her teen daughter Rory, and their lives in the small town Stars Hollow as well as their luxurious and classy life in Hartford with grandparents Emily and Richard Gilmore.
Stars Hollow, Connecticut, is the stereotypical image of a small town. There’s Luke’s diner where you can catch the whole town dining at anytime of day. Taylor’s market store which he makes sure is the only option for buying grocery products. Miss Patty’s dance studio. And of course Lorelai and friend Sookie’s Dragonfly inn.
The show is easy for all audiences to connect with and enjoy. It features Rory's life with school and friends and there are many humorous stories of Lorelai and the rest of the town.
Gilmore Girls will make you laugh, cry, and of course sing along to the theme song “Where you Lead”. This old and often forgotten show first aired in 2000. However, it is still the perfect show to binge watch.
The show can be found on many streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. There are seven seasons available to watch as well as the feature after the show, Gilmore Girls a Year in the Life.
Overall, I would recommend Gilmore Girls to a young adult audience who wants a great comedy to relax and watch.
