Casa D'Angelo's brings authentic Italian meals to Macedonia

A fresh, hot dinner always hits the spot after a long day of school with extracurricular activities of sports or clubs or coming home from after a lengthy, prolonged day at work. A great place to eat if you or your parents are too tired to cook something that night is a restaurant only 8.1 miles away from Aurora, it’s called Casa D’Angelo. The restaurant is located in Macedonia and serves primarily Italian foods and looks nicer than it appears on the outside.

The restaurant is open seven days week, but each day’s hours vary. From Monday to Thursday, they serve lunch from 11:00am to 4:00pm, then they serve dinner from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. On Friday, they serve lunch from 11:00am to 4:00pm then they serve dinner from 4:00pm to 10:00pm. Then on Saturday they only serve dinner from 4:00pm to 10:00pm. Lastly, on Sundays they only serve dinner as well from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. So, it really depends on the day and time you come in on what types food you will be able to select.

The menu of the restaurant is very large offering various types of pasta and sauces like pasta with seafood, pasta with meat and marinara, pasta with creamed sauces, pasta with garlic and olive oil. They also serve chicken, seafood, salads, veal, and sandwiches. One of my favorite meals to get is the spinach ravioli which is served in a spinach, artichoke and garlic cream sauce. The price is 12.00 dollars, which is not too bad. They also offer a kid’s menu with the basic items like spaghetti, lasagna, mac n cheese, cheese pizza, hamburger, french fries and more.

Pricing of foods can vary depending on what you get. The veal and seafood is the most expensive thing you could purchase, including when it can seafood is added to the pasta. The price can vary from 17.00 to 20.00 dollars. The prices of the pasta that has just meat or cream sauce vary from 10.00 to 16.00 dollars. So if you have a big family, this restaurant may not be the place to go on an average weekday night because the bill will spike up very fast. However, if you have a small family or a couple of people, this restaurant would be a great place to choose to go to.
