Condado makes its way to Cleveland

If I were to say the name Barrio, I think most students here at Aurora High School would know exactly what I am talking about. Yet, on the contrary if I were to say Condado it does not have the same effect.

Barrio is a Cleveland based and developed mexican restaurant. Barrio made its debut not long ago and has been keeping Cleveland's many taco customers satisfied for many years. However, I am here to tell you that Cleveland's mexican lovers are about to go crazy with another option in tacos.

Condado Tacos a Columbus based build your own taco restaurant has now made its way to Northeast Ohio. The newly developed Pinecrest located in Orange Village, Ohio is home to many new thriving restaurants, including Condado Tacos.

So here is the interesting story behind Condado. Some may wonder why has Condado’s never made its way to Cleaveland before? Yet, there is the kicker technically it has, or well its owner has. As I mentioned before Barrio is Cleveland's own taco Restaurant which was founded by two co partners Thomas Leneghan and Joe Kahn. Not long after Barrio made its debut Kahn found himself leaving Cleveland and making his way to Columbus. Not long after Condado’s was born.

Condado has expanded having eight booming locations 5 in Central Ohio, one in Pennsylvania, one in Indiana and this new location in Cleveland. Slowly but surely Condados is making its name well known.

If you find yourself wanting a fun night out with quality food Condado Tacos is your place. The menu offers not only a variety of salsas but the taco combinations are endless. The menu offers you to build your own tacos. You can start by choosing a hard corn tortilla or soft flour, even better you can choose both. Next you can have your pick of any protein you have in mind from house made chorizo to Thai seasoned tofu. Toppings include house made sauces, red cabbage, endless cheeses along with too many other options to name.

As your mouth is dancing with flavors your wallet will be dancing as well because I can first handedly say that the price for such a delicious dinner is unbelievable. Starting at just $3.50 each, and the portions are well worth the money.

Overall, if you are someone that loves a great atmosphere and delicious food for a great price then Condados Tacos is a must try. I urge you to hit the new Condado Tacos in Pinecrest as soon as the sign flips to “Now Open”.
