The Miracle Season inspires all

Recently released on Hulu, The Miracle Season is an inspiring movie based on a true story. The Miracle Season retells the story of Caroline “Line” Found and the 2011 West High School Volleyball team.

Found (Played by Danika Yarosh) was West’s star volleyball player, when she passed suddenly in a moped accident before her senior season. The West Volleyball team, including Caroline’s best friend Kelly Fiehler (Erin Moriarty), and coach Kathy Bresnahan (played by Oscar winning Helen Hunt) rallied in honor of their lost captain, winning the 2011 Iowa state volleyball championship.

The retelling of this story, inspires people of all ages. The most important message of this movie is to “Live Like Line,” a saying that was constantly repeated throughout the volleyball championships. This saying had a huge impact on the movie, making the story more meaningful with an underlying message to live everyday with a positive outlook just like Caroline. This movie is about finding strength through adversity and living life to the fullest.

This Miracle Season is a true tear jerker, narrating a tragic event and successfully portraying the hard times that not only the high school volleyball team, but the coach, and student body went through during the loss of their classmate.

Through the true story of a loss, most everyone can relate to this movie. Senior Katie Fisher states, “As a student who plays volleyball in high school, I could really relate to this movie, it allows me to feel connected to the characters, and understand what they are going through.”

Although this movie came out April 6, and is no longer in theaters it can be found recently released on Hulu, Amazon Prime video, and Google Play movies. I definitely recommend this to not only high school students, but people of all ages who are looking for a feel good movie that teaches an important lesson.
