TV shows you might want to binge-watch

There are just some TV shows that will never end. Sometimes you find yourself re-watching the series two or three times just in case you missed something. and there were some people who find themselves in a show hole and are looking to find their next binge-watch to satisfy their TV watching needs. This list is for both of those people.

Warehouse 13 it's just one of those TV shows that at some random moment one of the episodes of just pop into your head and you'll find the need to watch the series all over again. The story-line of the show was original and entertaining and it held a science fiction/crime mix that just worked well with the show and its chemistry.

The summary of the show is Warehouse 13 starts off following U.S Secret Agents Myka Bering and Pete Lattimer. They were assigned to work at the Warehouse that was located in the barren landscape of South Dakota. The Warehouse isn’t a normal government warehouse. It houses some of the most important inventions the brightest minds of history ever managed to create. However, these inventions aren’t hidden from the world without reason. The artifacts are imbued with powers that no one could have imagined existed.

This is definitely a series that might give you the urge to binge watch, but for time sake you might want to resist. Each episode is around 40 minutes each and there are five seasons. Binge-watching this show and expecting to finish it in one day is nota reality I can imagine. It'll definitely you some time to finish the series, but you'll end up finding that the pace will actually be more satisfying than you might have assumed.

Melissa & Joey is a hilarious sitcom that kind of evaded my mind for a while. Once again, this is a TV series that all somewhat stay in the back of your mind for a while. The leading actors, Melissa Joan Hart, and Joey Lawrence are a pretty iconic duo. They also co-starred in the movie My Fake Fiance if you need a reference to what they might look like. They keep up their bantering relationship the same in this TV show and it adds to the comedy of the overall show.

The show starts off with Melissa’s sister ending up in prison and the disappearance of her brother-in-law and her readiness to watch over her niece and nephew. Melissa quickly realizes that she might be over her head, knowing that she’s a politician running for office and she can’t be there as much as she can. Joe, who was a former “acquaintance” of Melissa’s brother-in-law and is given the position of being the family’s manny until he becomes Melissa’s husband. To me, this show started off kind of slow so it might not catch your attention from right at the beginning. However, if you can hang on through at least the first season I'm sure you'll find some enjoyment in for the long run.

Now, Limitless has better attention grabber than any of the shows I just previously listed. It'll immediately catch your eye from the beginning especially if you want the movie that the show took its basis off of. Limitless centers around a relatively normal- if not lazy- man by the name of Brian Finch. He’s a man that lacks ambition, strive and an overall sense of direction in his life. This all changes when a drug by the name of NZT with mysterious origins is presented to him. While he’s on this drug, his mind is opened to all and any possibilities. The drug, NZT, increases the use of one's cognitive abilities. Brian uses his newfound brain uses as a way to assist the FBI on cases as a consultant solving cases. However, on the flip side of things, he maintains a certain agreement with Senator Edward Morra, whether he likes it or not.

Don't get confused if you see a movie by the same name. The show is an adaption of the movie which is something that I thought was really cool and intriguing if you have watched the first movie. The leading actor from the movie, Bradley Cooper, has made a few cameos in the show as Senator Edward Morra who uses his abilities to try to run for president. I personally don't think that one season did justice to the possibilities to show had to offer. Basically, the show ended at a certain and unsatisfying stop that Limitless didn't deserve. Although, I would let the ending deter from the rest of the show. The best part of the show wasn't the story-line leading to the finale, but instead, the story-lines that were happening in each individual episode. For the time being, this TV show is available on Netflix.

I would be surprised for sure if no one has ever heard of Dexter. It was a major hit and people still definitely love it. But there are some people that have not given interest in watching Dexter and sometimes summaries aren’t always that compelling, so I thought I would give it a mention on this list.

At night, Dexter is a serial killer who hunts other criminals. However, by day he’s a blood splatter expert that helps solves murders. Most of his co-workers are oblivious to his double life nature. This lifestyle was given to him by his stepfather who caught on to his son’s behavior after he saved him from a traumatizing past. Right from the pilot, it's easy to tell that Dexter is definitely an interesting character. If you really get into deep thought about it sometimes you find yourself challenging whether his morals are wrong or right, but then you're kind of reminded that he is a serial killer and that his dark logic is the entire backbone of the show. This show also resides on Netflix.

If you're needing a real comedy four TV show then The Mick is definitely where you want to go. The character completely contrasts against the setting and is basically the real comedy of it. Mickey is an intelligent con artist who finds herself in charge of her estranged sister's kids after her and her husband flee the country after being faced with federal fraud charges. Mick ironically messes up everything around her while she seems to try to want to fix everything which I'm sure just for comedic effect and sometimes at the end of the episode sometimes it kind of gives you a moral value that you had can take away from it, which I think is also kind of good. Nevertheless, good morals and lessons learned aren't really the basis of the story-line. Unfortunately, this show is going to end after its second season. I haven't gotten around to watching the second season but hopefully, the end will give us enough closure so none of us have to go home feeling unsatisfied.

Timeless by far has to be one of my favorite TV shows. This show is a calling card for history nerds and I love it. It addresses some of the greatest people and events in American history, even some of the events and people that aren't as commonly known. One of the best parts was that I found myself actually learning something from the show. Now there's, of course, the secondary plot line and that gives you all the drama you desire between the characters but can also leave you with questions unanswered.

Timeless is about a dark organization that's hidden dark within American history that threatens the very fabric of American society. However, their plans are always halted by Lucy the historian, Wyatt the soldier, and Rufus the pilot. The three of them use a time machine called the lifeboat to save and protect some of the most crucial events in history.

This is another TV show that is most likely going to end with only a second season. There was some talk in July that they were looking for another TV provider to take the show for them but apparently, there's no bite on that end leaving a very certain possibility of the show's cancellation. Which I think is kind of one of the saddest things about it because since the show is about time traveling there are so many events in American history so that can be addressed in the show. The last episode of the second season left off at a cliffhanger which is probably the most frustrating part about knowing that it's not going to get a third season. At least, they say that there's going to be a 2-hour movie instead which I suppose is more fulfilling and getting no closure at all.

Last but certainly not least is the Good Place. I wanted to give a few shows on this list that you could find off of Netflix in this is again one of them. Kristen Bell is the leading actress in that in that by itself already made me click to watch the show. The woman is hilarious there for the show shall also be hilarious.

However, if you're not as convinced from the cast as I am here's a rundown of what the shows about. The Good Place (heaven) is a hard place to get into. When Eleanor finds out that she was able to get into the good place she was relieved. However, it doesn’t take long to figure out that she’s been put there by mistake and that she has to try her very hardest to stay there unless she wants to be risk being transferred to the bad place. As far as I know, there's no talk about this show ending. In fact, it's up to bat also for another third season which is something that I find fantastic. I'll say for certainty but the last few episodes of the second season will leave you wanting more for the third and that's as great as a show can get really.

Like I mentioned before, most of these shows have long episodes and multiple seasons. Finding time to binge-watch these shows might prove some difficulty, so spend your time wisely!
