Sign up for ski club

“Ski Club is an opportunity for students to ski or snowboard at Brandywine Ski Resort on Friday’s from 3:30 to 7:30 starting in January and continuing until Brandywine shuts down for the season,” Dr. Lauren Sobolewski, the club administrator and middle school teacher, says.

Joining this club is a great opportunity to ski at a discounted price with your friends at the high school. Although students may drive themselves, public transportation is still available for those who can’t get a ride. The season passes and day passes are both at a reduced price for those in the club.

The school travels to Brandywine, a popular ski place in the area with many hills and jumps for paterons. It also has concessions where students can get food while hanging out with their friends.

Information will be available in the office October 1st and will be on the announcements. Only 48 spots are left on the bus and $70 will need to be turned in by Nov. 13. Brandywine registration will also need to be completed. Any questions can go to Dr. Sobolewski. Everyone is welcome!

Previous club member, Ryan Stahl says “I decided to try it and I loved it. The school provided a great opportunity for me with its program to try something I’ve always wanted to try.”

Ski Club has been part of Aurora schools for a very long time and it’s a fun experience for everyone involved.
