Mansionz creates music out of life experiences

The group Mansionz is a mix of two amazing singers: Mike Posner and Blackbear. While not all of their songs are kid friendly, they all have great messages tied into them. Not only are they famous for their hit songs, but the duo also turns some heads with their matching green hair.

Mike Posner is an american singer-songwriter, poet, and record producer. He is most famous for his songs “Cooler Than Me” and “I Took A Pill In Ibiza”. His song “Cooler Than Me” reached the US Billboard Hot 100 top 10, as well as his top 20 hit “Please Don’t Go”. Posner uses all real experiences to inspire his songs.

Matthew Musto, also known as Blackbear, is a singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is 27 years old and he sings Contemporary R&B. Not a lot of his songs are very well known but they have a lot of heart and soul in them. His most famous songs are “4u” and “IDWK”. Musto had a near death experience when he was a teen and he puts all that anger and fear into his songs.

The duo met when co-writing the song “Boyfriend” by Justin Bieber. A lot of their songs are talking about what is wrong with our society today and how all these changes affect us negatively. Their songs question the doings of Millennials these days and they question what they think love really is and how they deal with relationships. Their songs are more of a Contemporary R&B. It is kind of like a slower more meaningful rap song.

I would say this group is directed more towards teenagers and high school students rather than children and adults. Overall the musical duo that goes by the name of Mansionz is just an amazing group to jam out to in the car, late at night with your best friend in the passenger's seat.
