Grey's Anatomy still going strong after 14 seasons

Emergencies, surgery, life, death, love and loss are the definition of Grey’s Anatomy. This show is one that will definitely leave you sitting on the edge of your seat. The medical drama series is centered around a group of young doctors at Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital. They began their careers at the facility as interns and slowly work their way up in the hospital. One of the main characters is Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), her name being the show’s namesake. The show takes you on a journey with Meredith as she struggles to maintain relationships with her colleagues, particularly the hospital's big time chief of surgery.

Many episodes break your heart and will leave feeling tempted to shout or even throw things at the screen! There are great cliffhangers that make the viewers impatiently wait until the next episode to see what happens next. Grey’s Anatomy has a lot of real world connections and lessons.

The show currently has 14 seasons on Netflix, each episode lasting about 42 mins. There are about 27 episodes in each season. This allows for the story to really grow, changing so much from the beginning to the end of the season.

If you are someone who is interested in the human body and science this show is definitely for you. I have watched all of Grey's Anatomy and can personally say it is very good. I loved the suspense and how it keeps making you want to watch more. It is definitely a binge show, once you start it is very hard to stop.

There were a few things that I did not like about the show. Sometimes it seemed like there was unneeded drama placed at random parts of the show. I also did not like the amount of characters that die throughout it all. If you are a person who does not like the sight of blood or are very squeamish then I would stay away from Grey’s Anatomy. Other than that it is a very interesting and different show compared to others on Netflix.

If you like the Good Doctor (main character Freddie Highmore), which is on Hulu, then you would really like Grey’s. They both are about following someone’s journey through residency in a hospital, and facing challenges from others and their work setting.

Grey’s Anatomy is still currently on LifeTime TV and ABC. There are just reruns playing right now until season 15 comes out, which does not have a release date yet.

I highly advise anyone looking for a good show to watch Grey's Anatomy. It is long and will definitely keep you entertained for a good amount of time.
