Calling all barbeque lovers: Blazin’ Bills is the restaurant for you
World famous barbeque, homemade coleslaw, and a family centered restaurant, Blazin’ Bills not only fills you with good food but a time of family and laughter. Located in Burton, Ohio on Main Market Road, Blazin’ Bills is known for its delicious ribs and house barbeque sauce made in their very own smokehouse.
With never ending appetizers, sandwiches, seafood, barbeque ribs and chicken, there is something for everyone. My favorites include an appetizer of the onion ring loaf, more than enough to feed a family of 5, with crispy rings and a delectable dipping sauce. For the entree, a half rack of ribs perfectly smoked with an extra side of barbeque (of course), topped with a refreshing cream soda. They have multiple different types of barbeque sauce that range in flavor from mild to spicy, mild having just the right amount of spice to add a kick of flavor. Other favorites on the menu include the a la carte barbeque chicken and the cream cheese filled jalapeno poppers, if you're feeling adventurous.
All of the entrees are moderately priced for the amount of food you recieve with a range of 12-20 dollars depending on your choice, also coming with a cheaper a la carte option.
Blazin’ Bills was also remodeled, due to the fire that occured there in 2004. A blessing in disguise, this fire allowed the restaurant to expand. Now, enabling over 200 people to sit and enjoy their meals at tables meant for large family get togethers and groups of friends. The restaurant also includes an outdoor dining area, complete with a breezy, family atmosphere.
Stating the obvious, if your looking for a light and quick dinner this restaurant is not for you. Blazin’ Bills is about a 20-30 minute drive depending on where you live in Aurora, and that does not include the wait to finally be seated. On the other hand, if your looking for a hearty meal you can share with your group of family and friends, and a fun dinner time spot, Blazin’ Bills should definitely be taken into consideration.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to the barbeque lovers of Aurora. With nationally ranked ribs, homemade coleslaw, and award-winning barbeque sauce Blazin’ Bills is worth the thirty minute trek.
