Should you stop watching the DCEU?

Should you stop watching the DCEU movies? Are they too dark and depressing? The answer is yes. Recently, The Justice League launch in theaters. Just like all the other recent DCEU movies, it’s bad because of its gloomy, depressing, and it has many dark concepts throughout. DC Comics have had to watch beloved characters like Superman and Batman flop about in the darkness. Backed by Warner Bros, DC has consistently been five years behind Disney and Marvel. Man of Steel, the first entry in the DC Extended Universe, came five years after Iron Man broke ground on the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2008. Now, five years after Avengers, we’re getting Justice League. That’s not the only problem. The DCEU wants to catch up to Marvel and rush to build their own universe. According to ComicbookMovie.com, “The biggest piece of evidence that massively hindered its film was the completely random and lazy introduction to the Justice League members in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice”. Batman v Superman has no common sense when it comes to plot and just introduces all characters for the Justice League in a lazy way. In general, introducing characters has been a huge issue in the DCEU movies. In conclusion, you shouldn’t watch the DCEU movies directed by Zack Snyder because it’s too depressing, dark, and lazy.
