This fun movie takes place in the present. Jumanji used to be a board game that pulls everything out of the game and into the real world. Now Jumanji turned into a video game and pulls the players into the game. The four players, high school students Spencer, Bethany, Fridge, and Martha get trapped into the game. They picked their avatars and once their trapped, they changed into their avatars they picked. The kids need to work together as a team in order to complete the game and escape. This outstanding movie starts off with four high school students, Spencer, Fridge, Martha, and Bethany. Spencer is a video game nerd who does all the homework for Fridge because Fridge told him to. Martha is a very shy person with no friends at school. She’s always in a bad mood to everyone. Bethany is a self-centered girl that is rude to everyone else in school. These kids weren’t friends to each other until they all get trapped into Jumanji. They learn to work together in order to beat the game. There are many strengths this movie has. Comedy is its greatest strength. In fact, the funniest part of this movie is when the avatars act like the kids that are trapped. For example, Dwayne Johnson acts like Spencer and Kevin Hart acts like Fridge. The best part is Jack Black acting like Bethany. People should waste their time and money on Jumanji because it brings positivity into the world. The audience will laugh the entire movie. In conclusion, Jumanji is the movie people should waste their time and money on.
