Pitch Perfect's final debut

Pitch Perfect 3 is about the well known

group, the Barden Bellas. Only this time the girls are all out of college and have their careers. It all changes when they attend the Bellas’ reunion and make the decision to compete together one last time.

As the girls make the journey across the globe they go on tour singing for the men in the military and their families. They continue to travel around, competing for the chance to sing an opening song for DJ Khaled.

While all of this is taking place, Fat Amy’s dad is introduced to the audience to thicken the plot and add to the drama. As the girls stride to win the competition and fight to save themselves and each other, they continue to bring laughter to their audience.

Pitch Perfect, directed by Trish Sie, has a cast full of talented individuals like Anna Kendrick, Elizabeth Banks, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, Anna Camp and many more. The first Pitch Perfect made its debut on September 28, 2012 and won the “Best music supervision for films budgeted under 25 million” and was nominated for many titles like “Outstanding Achievement In Casting” and “Best Trailer”. Also, Rebel Wilson, who played the role of Fat Amy, was nominated for “Best Actress In A Comedy” and “Breakthrough Artist”.

Three years later, Pitch Perfect 2 came out on May 15, 2015 when they won “Best Contemporary Hair Styling”, “Best Kiss” and People’s Choice Awards also deemed the movie the winner of the title “Favorite Comedic Movie”. The movie was also nominated for titles like “Best Song”, “Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media”, “Favorite Movie” and many others.

Finally, two years later, Pitch Perfect 3 came out on December 22, 2017 and is still in theaters today. The third movie also introduces new characters to the movie like DJ Khaled, Ruby Rose, John Lithgow and more.

Overall, I thought the movie was really good. As per usual, the film had me laughing and was full of catchy songs that make me wish I could sing. I also thought that the acting was very good and the script was well thought out and creative.

On the other hand, the movie added a plot twist that resulted in Fat Amy having to fight off bad guys which, to me, seemed out of character for the movie and a tad bit random. Still though, all the scenes were well made and well thought out.

Pitch Perfect never failed to put a smile on my face in the past and it definitely did not fail this time either. I would definitely recommend this movie to other people and personally, I would enjoy seeing it again.
