No one can deny the intrigue of an unsolved mystery. BuzzFeedBlue, a YouTube Channel, has seasons of two friends exploring any unsolved mystery.
The show is similar to Ghost Adventures because both travel to the location of the mystery to investigate further.However unlike Ghost Adventures with 3 people, Unsolved is with two close friends, Ryan and Shane. Ryan is very willing to believe in the evidence and Shane is very skeptical. This causes them to examine more thoroughly and question the validity of evidence they may gather.
“I wish I would see or hear a ghost,” said Shane to Ryan while examining footage of their stay at London Catacombs.
Shane and Ryan’s friendship also makes them unique by bringing a playful attitude to the story behind the mystery.
Another benefit of it being a BuzzFeed video is the delivery of information. They can display information using pictures,videos, cartoons, and even joke about the information in a visually appealing way by showing it as a text message conversation between the Shane and Ryan.
The best thing about their series is the diversity of episodes (lasting 20-30 minutes), they travel the world and are willing to go after any unsolved mystery!They go to haunted houses, castles, asylums, hospitals, graveyards, in any country or state. While Shane and Ryan are at the location, they tell you all the facts that are already out there, and then stay with equipment to gather more evidence (hopefully). They use the same equipment as other shows of this genre; a spirit box, recorders, cameras, motion sensors, etc.
