Donuts bring peace and love to customers.
Located in a small and cozy building off of S. Main St in Hudson you will find some of the cutest and most creative donuts in northeast Ohio.
Peace, Love, and Little Donuts has a refreshing and fun atmosphere filled with bright colors and freshly made, mini-donuts. They have a nice psychedelic vibe throughout the shop and it even extends to their donuts. You can get three types of donuts while there: Groovy -- which have powdered toppings, Far out-- these have frosted toppings, and finally Funkadelic-- which are covered with frosting and covered in crazy toppings. Some of their most popular are S’Mores, Samoa, and Mocha. They are located, closest to us, in Hudson, Kent, and Cleveland.
Peace, Love, and Little Donuts was founded in 2009 by Ron and Marci Razete in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. From there the franchise spread exponentially and they now have 31 stores open across America. Though they have opened many different shops around the united states the Razete’s still continue to work, as a family, at their original shop in Pittsburgh.
The workers at the Hudson location were very friendly and helpful, which was especially nice since I had never been before. They explained everything from which donuts were which and how they made the donuts.
The donuts are constantly made fresh throughout the day, so it’s not like big franchises such as Dunkin Donuts where if you get there too late the donuts are going to be stale. They also decorate them to order, so they aren’t mushy by the time you eat them. The donuts themselves have that homemade--old fashion taste to them that can’t be beat.
The only real downside is the price when compared to how much donut you are getting for your money; because they are smaller donuts than the ones you would get at places like Dunkin Donuts.
Over all I highly recommend driving up to one of the locations the next time you have a free morning and getting a few to try, I promise you will want to go back for more.
