Drama Club fundraises for future productions

At Aurora High School students are given the opportunity to be involved in a vast number of clubs. These clubs give students the opportunity to express themselves in many different ways. They are able to spend time with other students, express their ideas, and to do what they love.

One of the many amazing clubs offered here is the Drama Club. The Drama Club is headed by English and Drama teacher Rob Albrecht. Albrecht has many years of experience within drama and the arts community. He also currently teaches drama which is offered to all students.

The main goal of the club is to provide fund-raising for the Drama Department and all of its possible endeavors. The President is Hannah Kulawiak. The Vice-President is Ryan Kacmar. The club also features officiers Karson Taylor, Secretary and Logan Jancsurak, Treasurer.

The club meets once a month on Mondays, typically in Albrecht’s classroom. They discuss possible fund-raising opportunities and plan what is ahead.

Drama Club is currently planning a movie night, bake sales, a possible acting camp for elementary students, and a cabaret/dinner theater.

If you are interested in performing arts and want to help benefit the Drama Department, then Drama Club is for you! Contact Mr. Albrecht or any of the officers listed above if you are interested in joining!
