Fall Festival Tomorrow!
Kick the first weekend of October off with the Sunny Lake Park Fall Festival! The festivities will take place on Saturday (the 7th) from 11am to 4pm at Sunny Lake Park.
Not all the fun is free, a $10 wristband will cover unlimited inflatables, pumpkin craft, an additional craft, and putt-putt golf. There will also be face painting! Many people I have asked seem to be considering being a turtle or a zombie.
Jungle Terry will be there showing off his creatures at noon.
“Jungle Terry is awesome I loved all the different animals he brought to a party in the past,” said MeriClare Honsaker.
I am personally very excited for the activities sponsored by Freedom Greyhound Rescue. Speaking of dogs, feel free to bring your dog trick or treating ($8 per dog) and join the costume contest that will take place at 12:30pm. Categories for dogs will be scariest, funniest and creative. Categories for owners and their dogs will be look-a-like and best theme. But wait, there’s more! Dogs will be in competition with each other for longest tail, shortest tail, prettiest eyes, and best trick. Register from 11:30am-12:30pm for the walk around Sunny Lake after the contest.
Last but not least, free hay rides!
Come to Sunny Lake Park this Saturday for a fun filled Fall Festival for the whole family!
